It's that time of year again for
"Sears Heroes At Home"!
Here's the information I currently have:
For the fifth year, Sears will be sponsoring its Heroes at Home
registry for military families this holiday season.
So far, the program has raised more than 23 million dollars
and helped over 62,000 families!
In order to help families enjoy the gift card donations
during the holiday season,
registration for this program will be earlier than ever –
on August 30 between 1 and 3 pm CDT.
It’s a short period of time to get your name on the list,
and the site will be jumping!
Typically they reach their 20,000 cards in
less than 10 minutes so you'll want to apply ASAP!
In addition, from September 4 through November 19,
the site will be taking donations to help meet
the holiday wishes of military families.
Please share this information with any DOD card holders
who may be able to use the extra help this year.
Last year (2011) those who were chosen received
approximately a $50.00 gift card to help for the holidays!
