What's going on in Christian County, KY this weekend..... A LOT, here's a list!

THURSDAY-SUNDAY - To help put you in the Christmas spirit come see a Christmas Carol, The Musical by Campanile Productions. Charles Dickens a Christmas Carol is a story we all know and love, now set to music overflowing with Christmas feelings to carry in our heart all year long. Performance dates are December 1st, 2nd & 3rd at 7pm and Sunday, December 4th at 2:30pm....All shows are at the Alhambra Theatre. Tickets can be purchased online at  or at the door the night of the show.

THURSDAY - SUNDAY - 2nd "FESTIVAL OF TREES"at the Bradford Square Mall Hopkinsville, Kentucky- Festival visitors can buy raffle tickets for a chance to win their favorite decorated tree or wreath. Admission and raffle proceeds will benefit the community vision plan, Christian County Cares 2015. Learn more at: Festival Exhibit Hours are Thursday, 5-9 pm; Friday, 4-9 pm; Saturday, 10 am - 9 pm and Sunday 12-6 pm.

SATURDAY - Hopkinsville Christmas Parade - The 2011 Christmas Parade is set for 10:00 am and will follow its usual route from Glass Avenue, South on Main Street to 15th Street. The Grand Marshal will be Kentuucky Representative John Tilley and the theme is "Christmas Around the World". The parade is coordinated by the Division of Parks and Recreation and many volunteers.

SATURDAY - Children's Holiday Movie - Join us at 1:00 PM for a FREE, family movie presentation at the HCC Auditorium! Presented by the City of Hopkinsville, Division of Parks & Recreation, and Hopkinsville Community College. Call 270-887-4290 for more information.

SATURDAY -  Charity Ball - James E. Bruce Convention Center - 8:00 pm - Midnight - Black Tie optional - Live Entertainment by The Body & Soul Band.  Silent Auction will be held with proceeds going to local charities. SATURDAY  - Santa Visits Pennyrile Forest State Park - When Santa visits our park he spreads holiday cheer everywhere. Come and enjoy the festivities at Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park from 5-7 pm. FREE pictures with Santa in the Lodge Lobby!

TUESDAY - Peter Mayer's Stars & Promises 2011 - Echoes of Christmas - Alhambra Theatre - 507 South Main Street - Ticket proceeds will go to the Christian County Juvenile Services.
